Privacy Policy for Wend

Wend (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a calm, offline routine app for Android (package com.wendapp.wend). This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. The short version: Wend has no account and keeps your data on your device. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information.

Data you create stays on your device

Your routines, steps, reminder schedules, theme choice, and progress are stored locally on your device only. They are not sent to us or to any server, and we have no way to access them. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

We do not collect personal data

Wend contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no account system. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics.

Notifications

If you enable step or routine reminders, they are scheduled and shown locally on your device by Android. No notification content is transmitted off the device.

Purchases (Wend Pro)

Wend Pro is an optional in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing, and entitlements are managed by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. To process and validate a purchase, these services may handle:

• a randomly generated app user identifier (not tied to your name),
• purchase and transaction details (which product, status, receipts),
• limited device/store information required to complete and verify the purchase.

We do not receive or store your payment-card details — those are handled by Google. We use this purchase information solely to unlock and restore Wend Pro.

Permissions

• Notifications — to show step and routine reminders you turn on.
• Exact alarms — so reminders fire at the time you set.

These permissions are used only on your device for the features above.

Children

Wend is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. You can remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the app. For purchase records held by Google or RevenueCat, you may contact us or those providers. Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have rights regarding data those processors hold; we will help where we can.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised version at the same URL.
